Any juniors or seniors interested in the University of Wisconsin Superior (UWS) can sign up outside Ms. Fierke's office to meet the recruiter on Wednesday Oct 18th at 10:30

School bus evacuations will be held this morning at 8:30. This is mandatory for all students.  The evacuation will take place where the buses normally load and unload. Students who ride the bus are to report to the bus they normally ride and if they do not regularly ride the bus they can just choose any bus. 

Bus Safety Week is October 16th – 20th. In honor of National Bus Safety week, 4.0 Bus Service is hosting a poster contest! We would like to encourage all K-6th grade students to participate. There will be two judging categories; K-3rd and 4th-6th grade. The first place winner of each category will win a gift card to Dollar General. Students are to draw a picture that depicts bus safety on a standard 8.5”x11” piece of paper. Each student must fill out an entry card and tape it to the back of their poster. The posters are to be turned in to the office by Tuesday, October 17th at the end of the school day for judging. Winners will be announced Wednesday morning!

There will be a Family Fun Night on October 17th from 5-6:30pm.  Pink fliers will be making their way home, so be sure to let your parents know! Come have a snack, try the QR code scavenger hunt, create a fall craft, and carnival games.

Also, happening that night is the 2nd Annual Dodgeball Tournament. We already have a faculty team, firefighter team and a team from the New Life Church.  High School students, gather a team of 6 and sign-up outside Mrs. Fjeld's classroom. 

Religious Release classes will be held today. Please report to the church you selected.

 The Blood Mobile will be here today, October 11th  from 1:00 to 4:00.

Any students interested in Drivers Training can sign up outside Ms. Fierke's office.  The dates will be October 30- Nov 10 from 3:15-5:15.  Cost is $125

The Floodwood Police Dept is sponsoring an ATV Safety Course this coming Saturday Oct 14.  Students must be ages 6-15.  Contact the Police Dept. for details.

Today’s lunch is Spaghetti, coleslaw, beans, breadstick, and fruit.

Tomorrow’s breakfast is Breakfast Wrap, fruit cup, and juice.
