Good morning Floodwood students and staff.  Today is Monday, January 8th.

Please stand and join in the Pledge of Allegiance.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Good luck to the girls basketball team in their home game against Cromwell tonight.

Varsity Knowledge Bowl Practice will be Tuesday after school and Thursday during Senior High lunch in Mr. Tollefson's room.

There will no groups with Ms. Kolu after 11:45 today.

Attention Seniors and Juniors, Dollars for Scholars application deadline is coming.  To help you with the process, there will be an application working session tomorrow, January 9 for seniors and Tuesday, January 16 for juniors. Remember that you will need to set up a private email other than the school's, know the address you want materials sent to, your Social Security number, personally contact two people that will write a reference for you and give them talking points, employment history, activities list, leadership skills, and community involvement.

The National Honor Society will be hosting a school wide food drive for the Floodwood FST Food shelf starting today, January 8th through the 18th. We are asking students and staff to bring in nonperishable food items that will help those in need. The class with the most donations, determined by weight, will have a choice of a pizza or ice cream party.

Today’s lunch is Corndogs, coleslaw, baked beans, and fruit.

Tomorrow’s breakfast is Cereal bar/yogurt, fruit cup, and juice.

Paws up to the students caught roaring with pride…Thank you for setting a good example to students and staff!
