Daily Bulletin for October 10th

Good morning Floodwood students and staff.  Today is Wednesday,  October 10th.

Congratulations to the girls Volleyball in their win last night against Esko 3-0.

Good Luck to the Cross Country team in their PL Conference Meet in Grand Marais today at 1:00 pm.

There will be a School Bus evacuation drill today starting at 8:30. We will need all students out to the loading area where they will be divided onto two separate buses.  Pre-k through sixth grade will be going on bus number 5 with Rob and 7th through 12th grade will be going on bus number 7 with Lucie. It should not take more than 20 minutes. Jessica will be there to answer any questions. Please release all students following the completion of this morning announcements.

The Junior class is still selling Floodwood Polar Pride pop sockets! They are $10.00 a  piece. Get them while they last.

Tomorrow at 4:30 there will be a Volleyball Tailgate party.  Many activities are planned and there will be a Staff Soup Cook-off.  Come, try the soup and vote for your favorite.  Let's show our school spirit and cheer on the volleyball team!

The College of St. Scholastica will be here tomorrow @ 9:00 to meet with Juniors and Seniors.

Submit your Independent Student Art to Ms. Gillespie again this year to go in the yearbook. Paintings, drawings, sculpture, anything that can be photographed will be good.

The Elementary Family Fun Night is next Tuesday, October 16th. The PBIS team is asking students to bring in gently-used or new books for a book exchange. If you're able to donate, please give to your classroom teacher. Please spread the word. 

Meadowlands is still looking for volunteers to help with the Halloween Party on Saturday Oct 27th from 10:45-1:00.  Please contact Ms. Fierke if you're interested

The cafeteria will be open from 2:30 to 2:50 for a la carte purchases today.

Are you made for the stage? If so, students in grades 7-12 are encouraged to sign up in the office if you are interested in participating in a fall play. See Ms. Gillespie for more information.

Today’s lunch is Hot dogs, Emoticon potatoes, baked beans, fruit, and milk.

Tomorrow’s breakfast is Pancake sausage wrap, fruit cup, and juice.

Be sure to be in school and on time to get in the lunch line 3 minutes before your classmates.
