Daily Bulletin for May 10, 2019

Good morning Floodwood students and staff.  Today is Friday, May 10th.

Teacher Appreciation quote for today: Teaching is the essential profession, the one that makes all professions possible. Thank you, again, for your dedication to your students. You make the school go ‘round.

Good Luck to the Softball & Baseball Teams in their games today: Baseball is heading to Cook County for their game at 2. Loading time is 9:50 a.m. and Softball is heading to Ely for a 4:30 game. Loading time is at 1:15 p.m. (and just a heads up it will be a Carlton bus). 

Good Luck to the Track team in their meet at Crosby-Ironton for their 4 o'clock meet. Loading time is 1:35 p.m.

The Sixth grade is heading to Fort Snelling, the State Capitol and a Twins game. Loading time is 9:15 a.m.

There will be no Intervention with Ms. Davidson this morning. Ms. Davidson’s 4th hour class report to the Art Room and the TA’s for 7th hour please report to the office. Mr. Rauvola’s 6th hour class report to the gym with Ms. Taylor.

The Academic Awards Ceremony will take place at 6PM on Monday. High School students: look at your school email to see if you are getting an award. Please plan to attend!  There will be some extra yearbooks available to purchase after the program if you haven't already done so. 

Anyone who is in 9th – 12th grade interested in running for Floodwood Fair Queen or King, please sign up in the office by Monday, May 20th.

Due to maintenance of the Catholic Church lawn for the season, there will be no parking allowed starting Monday, May 13th to the end of the year. Please respect the church’s request.

If you are under the age of 14, we're looking for Little League players for this summer.  We need 5 more to make a team.  Please see Ms. Fierke for a sign-up sheet.

Seniors: If you would like signs made for graduation, please see Ms. Davidson.

Today is Hat Day. Be sure you have your $1.00 handy.

Today’s lunch is Individual Pizza, romaine salad, carrots, fruit, and milk.

Monday’s breakfast is Mini Cinnis, fruit cup, and juice.

Be sure to be in school and on time to get in the lunch line 3 minutes before your classmates.
