Good morning Floodwood students and staff. Today is Thursday, October 24th.
Congratulations to the Volleyball team in their win last night against Silver Bay 3-0.
Elementary Students. Everyone will be expected to wear a jacket, hat, and mittens out to the playground starting today. We can always take them off if it gets warm. So have them on when you go out for recess.
There will be no Elementary gym today.
School picture retake day will be today starting at 8:30. Please be sure to have your picture packet with you when you report to the gym. We will have student helpers getting the students to the gym at their designated time.
7th & 8 grade Knowledge Bowl practice is today during lunch in Ms. Robinson’s room
Elementary girls’ basketball is just around the corner. We will have two teams this year. 3rd & 4th grade and 5th & 6th grade. Make sure to complete the form and return by Friday, November 1st. Forms are in the office if you need one.
Attention Seniors: If you want to save some money, and have the relief of getting your college apps done, Monday Oct. 28 Talent Search will be here 1st and 2nd hour to help get them complete. Please check in first hour then head to the Talent Search room prepared with your chrome books.
A representative from Vermillion will be here today at 10:00 am. We will make an announcement when they are here.
This Friday, October 25th, there will be a Halloween Party at The,Event Center in Floodwood from 5 – 7 pm. A free fun filled dance party. Costume contest, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies, DJ, games and treats. The Big Kid Dance will begin at 7:30 – 9:30 pm for ages 12-18.
Today’s lunch is Turkey Burger, romaine salad, tomato, milk, and fruit.
Tomorrow’s breakfast is Cold Cereal Snack Pack and Raisins.
