Letter from Superintendent/Principal

Happy New Year! Welcome back to school after the winter break!

It is good to have everyone back in the building. In a few quick weeks, we will be ending the 2nd quarter for the school year. Look for report cards to be available through Infinite Campus before the end of the month. A few important dates to remember are there will be no school on January 20th due to Martin Luther King Jr. Day and on January 27th due to teacher professional development.

With the end of 2nd quarter, semester classes for the high school will change on January 28th. Students will have one day to make their changes unless there are specific circumstances that require the change. With the change to the teacher contract, we are able to offer History of Rock, Independent Study Science Electives, Page to Stage, and Psychology.

With winter in full swing, please make sure your children come to school with their winter gear. Recess gets long and cold when the students aren’t dressed for the weather. Winter gear is also important for the bus ride. If the bus should break down, we want to be sure the students who are on the bus are dressed for the weather.
