Good morning Floodwood students and staff. Today is Monday, March 2nd.

Good luck to the boys’ basketball team in their Section 7A playoff game tonight at Hill City. Bus load time is 5:05 and leave at 5:15. Game time is 7pm.

Reminder to all students – cell phones and other personal tech devices need to be left in your locker turned off during the school day.

The National Honor Society students are excited to share the results of our Pennies for Patients program! During week 4, you donated $202.16, with four grades bringing in over $100! The 1st grade class brought in $70.23 making them the winners of the 4th week prize. Together we made and passed our goal of $350 to reach a grand total of $515.15! The class who brought the most in, was the 5/6th grade with a total of $136.06! Congratulations! And good job to all grades for your participation in the Pennies for Patients program! 

This week is Read Across America / Spirit Week! Today is Pajama Day and the readathon. Tomorrow's theme is One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish - Wear red or blue...The literary quote contest starts today: HS: “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who’ll decide where to go…” Elementary: “UNLESS someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”–  When you write your answers down we need your name and both the Author's name and the name of the book. Drop off in the office. All correct answers will be put into a drawing.

Attention seniors: The Dollars for Scholars phone-a-thon is this Thursday in the front office from 5:30-9:30pm.

Mark your calendars for the 7th-12th grade band concert on Thursday, March 12th at 7:00 pm.

Today’s lunch is Sloppy Joes, French fries, peas, fruit, and milk.

Tuesday’s breakfast is Breakfast Wrap, fruit cup, and juice.
