Daily Bulletin for October 9th

Good morning Floodwood students and staff.  Today is Tuesday, October 9th.

Congratulations to the girls Volleyball team in their win 3-0 last night against Isle.

Good Luck to the girls Volleyball team in their home game tonight against Esko.

Congratulations to the 85 students that had perfect attendance in September. Keep up the good work.

Mr. Rauvola’s 4th hour Study Skills class should report to the office.

This week, the Junior class will be selling Floodwood Polar Pride pop sockets! They are $10.00 a  piece. Get them while they last.

This Thursday, October 11th at 4:30 there will be a Volleyball Tailgate party.  Many activities are planned and there will be a Staff Soup Cook-off.  Come, try the soup and vote for your favorite.  Let's show our school spirit and cheer on the volleyball team!

The following post-secondary schools will be here to visit juniors and seniors this week. The

University of Wisconsin Superior today @ 1:00 and College of St. Scholastica on Thursday @ 9:00. Sign up on Ms. Fierke's door if you are interested.

Submit your Independent Student Art to Ms. Gillespie again this year to go in the yearbook. Paintings, drawings, sculpture, anything that can be photographed will be good.

The Elementary Family Fun Night is on Tuesday, October 16th. The PBIS team is asking students to bring in gently-used or new books for a book exchange. If you're able to donate, please give to your classroom teacher. Please spread the word. 

Meadowlands is looking for volunteers to help with the Halloween Party on Saturday Oct 27th from 10:45-1:00.  Please contact Ms. Fierke if you're interested

The Bookmobile will be here today between 10 – noon. Ms.Davidson will be checking in with High School classes to see if any students are interested. if you have signed up please have your library card or a photo of the bar-code. 

The cafeteria will be open from 3:00 to 3:20 for a la carte purchases today.

Are you made for the stage? If so, students in grades 7-12 are encouraged to sign up in the office if you are interested in participating in a fall play. See Ms. Gillespie for more information.

Get your 2018-19 yearbook by this Friday ordered for $40.00. The price will increase after that date.  Go to jostensyearbooks.com to place your order. See Ms. Gillespie if you have any questions.

Today’s lunch is Mac & Cheese, carrots, broccoli, bread, fruit, and milk.

Tomorrow’s breakfast is Chocolate chip French toast, fruit cup, and juice.

Be sure to be in school and on time if you want to get in the lunch line 3 minutes before your classmates.
