Good morning Floodwood students and staff.  Today is Friday, October 12th.

Congratulations to the girls Volleyball team in their win last night against Wrenshall 3-2.

And the winner is.... Mrs. Lindstrom with her organic vegetable venison soup! Thank you to everyone who came out to the tailgate party and showed their school spirit! Also, thank you to the awesome staff who helped with the event!

Good luck to the boys Football team in their home game against Northwoods tonight.

Jr. High Knowledge Bowl Team:  Be sure you are at the school ready to leave by 7:45 TUESDAY morning for our meet.

There will be no Elementary band today.

If you have a talent or a craft you'd like to earn money from, please see Ms. Fierke for an application to sell your goods at Floodwood's Annual Shopping Night on November 19.

The Junior class is still selling Floodwood Polar Pride pop sockets! They are $10.00 a  piece. Get them while they last.

Please mark your calendars. The Polar Den will be closed next Wednesday, October 17th

and Wednesday, October 31st. Also there will be no Gymnastics on October 31st.

Please remember to bring in gently-used or new books for a book exchange that will take place at the Elementary Family Fun Night on Tuesday, October 16th. If you're able to donate, please give to your classroom teacher.

Meadowlands is still looking for volunteers to help with the Halloween Party on Saturday Oct 27th from 10:45-1:00.  Please contact Ms. Fierke if you're interested

The cafeteria will be open from 3:00 to 3:20 for a la carte purchases today.

There was a cell phone and sweatshirt found in the large gym after Monday night’s game. Please come to the office to identify if they may be yours.

Today’s lunch is Pizza boats, romaine salad, carrots, fruit, and milk.

Monday’s breakfast is Mini Cinnis, fruit cup, and juice.

Be sure to be in school and on time to get in the lunch line 3 minutes before your classmates.
