Daily Bulletin for November 8th

Good morning Floodwood students and staff.  Today is Thursday, November 8th.

The National Honor Society is sponsoring a Food Drive through November 15th. High School students and staff please put your donations in the box in the main hallway. All Elementary students please take your donations to your classroom to be part of the Win by weight what you donate contest.

Hat Day will be tomorrow for  K – 12th grade. The cost is $1.00. Mr. Rauvola will be around to the classrooms to collect.

Next week is the book fair, come support your local library.  The book fair will be open at set times during the day and Parent Teacher conferences. Check the posted hours for more information.  Something new, book titles for high school students are included in the collection of books coming this year.

If you want to enter your pet in the cutest pet contest, entries need to be turned in by 10:30 today.

Jeannine Kellogg, MN author, is visiting the Floodwood School library next week.  If you are interested in meeting with her to discuss what it takes to be an author, please let Ms. Davidson know.  She will be scheduled to meet classes and interested students.

Due to recent deposits of ABC gum left on shelved books, gum is NO longer allowed in the library.  Please be sure to deposit your ABC gum into a TRASH bin before entering.

Juniors who will be taking the ASVAB today please report to your first hour for attendance and then you will be called out of class.  Please bring your chrome book with you to the elementary computer lab

Advisory will be held during first hour next Monday (Nov 12).  Please report to your class adviser's room with your chromebook or ipad:  seniors report to Mr. Bartsch classroom, juniors report to Ms. Hansons, sophomores - Ms. Gillespie, freshmen - Ms. Fjeld, 8th grade - Mr. Rauvola, and 7th grade to Mr. Olesiak.  Attendance will be taken there.

The cafeteria will be open from 3:00 – 3:50 for a la carte purchases today.

Today’s lunch is Corn dog, baked beans, carrots, fruit, and milk.

Tomorrow’s breakfast is Cold Cereal Snack Pack and craisins.

Be sure to be in school and on time to get in the lunch line 3 minutes before your classmates.
