Daily Bulletin for November 9th

Good morning Floodwood students and staff.  Today is Friday, November 9th.

Don’t forget to bring in your donations for The National Honor Society Food Drive running through November 15th. High School students and staff please put your donations in the box in the main hallway. All Elementary students please take your donations to your classroom..

Hat Day is today for  K – 12th grade. (No hoods allowed). The cost is $1.00. Mr. Rauvola will be around to the classrooms to collect.

Book Fair is set up and ready for business.   If you want to check it out, it will be open for Preview today from 11:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Voting for cutest pet starts Monday.  To vote you will need an official voting ballot from Book Fair staff.  Monday Book Fair Visitors will get 1 free ballot for stopping by; after their free ballot, shoppers will receive a ballot each time they make a purchase.   At the end of the fair, the pet with the most votes wins the contest and will receive a prize.  Cutest Pet Winner will be in Monday, November 19th's announcements.

Students, please review the Tech agreement you signed to avoid tech agreement violations.  Here are a few of things you agreed to when you signed it:

  I will charge my electronic device's battery daily.

  I will keep food, beverages, and other liquids away from my electronic device.

  I will never leave my electronic device unattended and I will know where my device is at all times.

Jeannine Kellogg, MN author, is visiting the Floodwood School library next week.  If you are interested in meeting with her to discuss what it takes to be an author, please let Ms. Davidson know.  She will be scheduled to meet classes and interested students.

Due to recent deposits of ABC gum left on shelved books, gum is NO longer allowed in the library.  Please be sure to deposit your ABC gum into a TRASH bin before entering.

Advisory will be held during first hour next Monday (Nov 12).  Please report to your class adviser's room with your chromebook or ipad:  seniors report to Mr. Bartsch classroom, juniors report to Ms. Hansons, sophomores - Ms. Gillespie, freshmen - Ms. Fjeld, 8th grade - Mr. Rauvola, and 7th grade to Mr. Olesiak.  Attendance will be taken there.

The cafeteria will be open from 3:00 – 3:50 for a la carte purchases today.

Today’s lunch is Individual pizza, romaine salad, carrots, fruit, and milk.

Monday’s breakfast is Omelet, muffin, fruit cup, and juice.

Be sure to be in school and on time to get in the lunch line 3 minutes before your classmates.
