Sr. High Band - 10-12 graders

Jr. High Band - 7-9 graders

The students take a year long class that is dedicated to the study and performance of music.  We choose music because it is one of the areas that people around the world can relate to.  It is a world-wide passion and while we may not all listen to the same style of music we all love it.  The bands spend the year studying music of all different genres and from all different countries and performing throughout the year the different pieces.  The high school band goes to the MN state contest every year and performs for judges who give the band a score on the performance as it relates to the notes, rhythms and style.  

The drumline is an audition group for anyone 8-12 grade who wants to play.  It is a parade group who performs for the Christmas City of the North parade as well as travels to Valleyfair for their annual parade in the park performances.  Students from any instrument may audition and will play the drums for this group.
