Good Morning Floodwood students and staff, today is Friday, May 16th.
You are welcome to stand and join in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Good luck to the boys baseball team at their game at HOME against Stella Maris! Come cheer them on, games start at 4:30!
Good luck to the girls softball team at their HOME game against Ely tomorrow! Come cheer them on, games starts tomorrow morning at 11:00am
Teacher's Aides - check your email for a google form from Mrs. Fjeld. This form needs to be completed prior to receiving your final grade for this semester.
5th-12th grade students - Mrs. Fjeld shared a survey with you through your email. Please take a moment before the end of the school year to complete this to help her improve for next year.
HS students - with a couple weeks of the school year remaining, start taking things home from your locker and gym locker that you do not need. This will help so you do not have to take a huge load at the end of the year.
Sunday, May 18th at 6pm all are invited to the All Sports Athletic Banquet in the large gym. All athletes will be recognized and dinner will be provided.
Monday, May 19th at 2pm the Academic Awards Ceremony will take place in the large gym. Students will be recognized for a variety of achievements from academic lettering to class awards.
Shout out to the Personal Finance/Life Skills Class. Yesterday they were on a field trip to Grand Rapids and met with people from the Business Community. A compliment coming from yesterday was “I don’t know what they-re doing in the Floodwood Schools, but these kids were awesome! Very respectful, smart and just fun to talk with!”
HS Girls Basketball meeting is canceled this morning

Today’s lunch is sloppy joes, french fries and carrots served with fruit and milk.
Monday's breakfast is a muffin served with juice and milk .
Due to the rain, recess will be indoors today. Be sure to wear gym shoes to the gym. Thank you!
