Good Morning Floodwood students and staff, today is Tuesday, October 7th.

You are welcome to stand and join in the Pledge of Allegiance.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Congratulations to Bode Hutchinson and Stormi Heavirland for their hard work, respect and care for others that earned them September’s Student of the Month!

Congrats to the girls volleyball team and their victory over Hinckley!!

Good luck to the girls Volleyball team at their away game against Carlton. Bus will load at 3:05 and depart at 3:15

Good luck to the boys Junior High Football team at their away game against Barnum

Picture retakes will be next Monday! Oct 13th

October is College Knowledge month!  Staff will wear college gear every Tuesday.  Ask them about the colleges they attended!

There will be a Youth in Action meeting this Friday during lunch.  Meet in the Polar Den.

I am bringing back jokes to the announcements. If you have a school appropriate joke you’d like to share with the school, bring it to Ms. Mel and we will get it in the announcements.

Here is mine for today:

Why don't mummies take time off? Because they're afraid to unwind.

Today’s lunch is pizza, side salad and carrots served with fruit and milk.

Tomorrow's breakfast is french toast sticks served with juice and milk.

Remember, tomorrow is the Walk, Bike, Roll to school event! Ms. Sue Johnson will have little prizes for those that participate in this event!
