Daily Bulletin for Tuesday, January 19, 2021

Good morning Floodwood students and staff! Today is Tuesday, January 19th.

Please stand and join in the Pledge of Allegiance.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Help us keep our school open: *Please remember to wear your mask over your mouth and nose, wash hands often for at least 20 seconds, social distance keeping at least 6 feet apart, stay home when sick and contact your provider for further guidance, clean and disinfect common areas and avoid social gatherings. Thank you.

Welcome back to the building 7th, 8th and 9th graders. It is great to see your smiling faces again!

A couple reminders to help you get back into the routine of being in the building:

- Cell phones need to be off and in your lockers. The expectations are still the same as before. If your phone is seen or heard it will be brought to the office. Please help keep distractions at bay by leaving them in your locker. Thank you!

- Lunch time - all 7th, 8th and 9th graders will eat lunch in the cafeteria. You will notice there are desks in there instead of tables. This is to maintain social distancing. Please do not move the desks and stay in your spot for the duration of lunch time. We cannot have groups gathering around a desk. Thank you for helping us all stay healthy and safe.

- Hallways - we still need to follow the arrows on the floor. Thank you

- Water - water fountains are still off beside the water bottle filling section. Remember to bring a water bottle to have with you. If you forgot one we do have small cups you can use, but please remember a water bottle, they are less messy and you get more at a time to quench your thirst.

- Finally, the end of Quarter 2 and Semester 1 is Friday. If your grades have slipped while you were Floodwood Connect, buckle down, ask questions and do your best to bring it back up! You got this!

Congratulations to the girls Varsity Volleyball and their victory over McGregor!!

Today’s lunch is curry gravy meatballs served with cilantro brown rice, corn, fruit and milk.

Tomorrow’s breakfast is egg cheese muffin served juice and milk.

Happy Birthday today to Errow Newton and Ethan Jarvenpa, and a belated happy birthday over this past weekend to Austin Terry, Ashlynn Thompson, and Kaydance Kendall

Paws up to the students caught roaring with pride: Thank you for setting a good example to students and staff!
