The 6th grade is learning about the Fur Trade, so we had our own "6th Grade Trade" where the students hand-made items to trade....becoming the voyaguer, trader and clerk, and setting up their own trading posts. Some things were replicas of European tools that were traded with the Native Americans for furs, and some items were things that the students just chose to make for fun!

3rd graders are learning their 0, 1, 2, 5, and 10 multiplication facts. Practicing at home would be great!

3rd graders were able to find characters in their books that showed a growth mindset!

The Floodwood Students learned about the difficult and perilous journey that Taha Muhammad endured to escape Iraq and Saddam Hussein. His message of stay positive and never give up impacted students.
