MCA Testing starts tomorrow April 8th. We would like to remind families to be sure their children are prepared with a good night’s rest, minimize screen time the night before and healthy breakfast. Also to do their best to be on time and present on days of testing.

Great job to all the students that participated in the "Track Down a Book" during March. They all got to pick a new book! We ended our I Love to Read month with a celebration and Dr. Seuss movie. Congrats to Senia for reading the most at 2100 minutes!

Today we welcomed Dignity Revolution's international speaker and author Bob Lenz, who spoke to our 4-12th graders on the value, courage, and respect we should have for ourselves and others. He started the show out with illusionist Joshua Jordan from Los Angeles. A huge thank you to them, their crew, and our students that came in early to help set up!

REMINDER!!! Spring Break kicks off this week on Wednesday April 1st with an early release day. Students will be released at 1:00pm. Afternoon bus routes will run 2 hours earlier than their normal times. Students should all exit the building or be picked up by 1:15pm. Floodwood School will be closed April 2nd through April 6th for Spring Break. Have a safe and fun Spring Break and we will see everyone back on Tuesday April 7th.

Preschool Enrollment is now open for the 2026-2027 school year. Students must be 4 years of age by September 1st, 2026 to enroll.

New Classes starting soon!
Congratulations to the kindergarten class for collecting 261 pairs of socks in our I Love to Read Fox in Socks Drive! They were the winners, but the Youth in Action students want to thank all of the families that donated socks to help local teens with supplies they need. Together we collected 707 pairs of socks! Wow!
