Youth & adults in the Floodwood Are who are interested in hunting or shooting are invited to enroll in a MN Firearms Safety Course.
Registration is officially open for our upcoming Youth Hunter Safety Course! This class will cover safe gun handling, gun safety in the home, care and storage of firearms, marksmanship and hunter responsibility.
📅 When: Saturday, August 15th OR Saturday, September 19th - 9:00a-3:00p
📍 Where: Council Chamber of Floodwood City Hall (111 8th Avenue West)
🎒 Students must bring: Printed voucher showing online course completion, article of blaze orange to wear, hat, & survival kit they make (information included in the online training course), water & snacks.
💸 Cost: $29.00 (online course) and $17.50 - See the press release for more details

The general and special election shall be held on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026. At that election, three (3) members will be elected to the School Board for terms of four (4) years each and one (1) member will be elected to the School Board for the term of two (2) years.
