What a season! Floodwood Volleyball did not end the season the way they wanted to, but they made the Floodwood community proud with a competitive and fun fall of watching their talents on the volleyball court. A shoutout also to the students, families and community members that followed this team all season long. The support was amazing - from a fire truck escort leaving for their final game to the student cheering section - the love for this team was evident! Polar Pride - Go Bears!

Thursday, October 30th, Floodwood students were visited by two guest speakers, Nichole Arbour and Dan Gile from SBDC (Small Business Development Center). SBDC is a resource for small business owners that provide free or low-cost counseling, training and other assistance to help small businesses start, grow and sustain.

Nichole and Dan spoke with our K-12 students on how art integrates with business. Students created logos for businesses and the older students even created pitches for a new business idea.

Cromwell Wright Area Football Team plays Thursday, 11/6, in Moorhead for the first round of state tournament games. Here is information regarding the fan bus if anyone is interested, along with Pep Fest/Send off time:

Pep Fest & Send Off at 10:30 am

Fan Buses (Coach) - will load at 1:15 & depart at 1:30 pm cost: $10 students/$15 Adults
** Fan Buses will stop for dinner before the game once they arrive to Moorhead
** Trip is approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes.
** Expect to arrive in Cromwell after the game between 1:30-2:00 am

Happy Halloween from the Floodwood School. The annual Halloween parade was so fun for the students. Thank you to everyone who came to watch and brought treats for the trick or treating!

FHS Volleyball takes on North Woods tonight for the 7A Championship! Come cheer on our girls in your best purple as they play to go to state! The game is held at the Rock Ridge High School in Virginia and starts at 4pm. Let's fill the gym with Polar Pride!!!
