We are just starting week three of the 2024-25 school year! This week all students will be taking our new universal screener, FastBridge. FastBridge will help our teaching staff make informed decisions on instruction and interventions. Please read the attached letter for more information. Floodwood School would like to thank Floodwood Services and Training, Inc for their recent donations to staff and students. Staff received Teacher Survival Kits last week and this week FST donated supplies and snacks to the elementary classes.
We appreciate their continued support!!

Another milestone hit tonight! Junior, Kenzie Kiminski, earned her 1000th kill, set assist by her sister! Way to go, Kenzie! An exciting week for the Kiminski household and our Floodwood Polar Bears Volleyball team!

September is School Board Appreciation Month. Floodwood School students benefit every day from the leadership and vision of our school board members. Please take time to thank these dedicated school leaders: Steve Hall, Tracy Hutchinson, Leanaya Miller, Cory Suonvieri, Dave Rohde and Tanya Johnson. School board members devote many hours of their time to provide leadership for our school district!

Freshman, Sadie Kiminski, reached 1000 set assists tonight in the Polar Bears volleyball match vs Cook County. Way to go Sadie!

Reminder!! Tonight’s Floodwood School's Back to School Open House is from 4 to 6pm. There will be a picnic meal provided by the local churches. Teachers will be in their classrooms from 4 to 5:30pm. Superintendent Sue Hoeft and Principal Amanda Fjeld will have a welcome announcement at 5:30pm in the large gym for all in attendance. Please complete enrollment forms if you haven’t already done so. Open House will be a great time to visit classrooms, drop off supplies and pay technology and sports fees. Chromebooks will be handed out the first week of school. Hope to see you all tonight to kick off a great school year! Go Polar Bears!!
