MCA Testing will occur the following dates: April 16, 18, 23, 25 and 30th. Teachers will notify families of the testing schedule and would like to remind families to be sure their children are prepared with a good night’s rest, minimize screen time the night before and healthy breakfast. Also to do their best to be on time and present on days of testing. Teachers work hard to be sure to have extra snacks and fun to celebrate their hard work on testing days. The Floodwood School would like to wish our Freshman, Alexis Hutchinson, good luck this weekend as she competes at the Levels 6-10 Regional Championships for Gymnastics 2024 in Bettendorf, IA. We are all rooting for you Alexis!!

Due to weather closures, Kindergarten Roundup will be held at 5pm on Friday April 5th. Any families interested in enrolling their student in Kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year are welcome to join. On Thursday March 21st, Floodwood students celebrated the end of the 3rd quarter. Elementary students went to Thunder Alley Bowling and Arcade in Grand Rapids, with a special thank you to Clothing Etc for their donation to help keep the cost low for our elementary students to bowl and play in the arcade. High School students enjoyed volleyball and playing bags.
Floodwood School will have a two hour late start on Wednesday March 27th due to road conditions. The building will be open at 9:45am with classes starting at 10:25am.

Spring break is Thursday March 28, 2024 through Monday April 1, 2024. There will be no school and the district office will also be closed during this time.
Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Monday March 25th and Tuesday March 26th from 3:30-7pm. Elementary students scheduled times were sent home. High School conferences will not have set times. Parents can visit with teachers on a first come first, serve basis. If you have any questions regarding conferences, please reach out to your students teachers or the district office.
