  • Please do not send your student to school sick.  This includes headache, allergy symptoms, cough, cold, fever, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, muscle pain or runny nose.

  • If you left the state or country, please follow the travel requirements on the last page below.

Graduation

Graduation is scheduled for Friday, May 28th at 7PM.  Details in the coming weeks. 

 Consider having your senior vaccinated to avoid being quarantined or getting COVID-19.  

  • Plan ahead, not everyone will get an appointment right away.  

  • It takes 21 days to get both vaccinations then the student is considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after their second shot.  

  • In other words,  a person is NOT considered fully vaccinated until 2 weeks after they have completed both shots.

Fall Vaccine Reminders

Now is the time to schedule your Juniors, 6th graders or kindergarten students needing vaccines for the fall.  

Attention JUNIORS entering their senior year- meningococcal vaccine is required prior to the 1st day of school.

Attention 6TH GRADERS entering 7th grade- Meningococcal and Tdap is required prior to the 1st day of school

Attention PRESCHOOLERS entering Kindergarten- must have 5 Dtap, 4 polio, 3 Hep B, 2 MMR and 2 Varicella prior to 1st day of school.

As of March 30th Vaccine eligibility opened to anyone age 16+ (with parental consent). The vaccine is FREE.

St. Louis County Public Health will continue to prioritize frontline workers, seniors, and individuals with underlying health conditions.

  

SERVICE HOURS OPPORTUNITY

 

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED 

for Free Food Distribution Thursday, April 15th at 1:00 PM 

Hope Lutheran Church Parking Lot, 401 Hwy 73, Floodwood.

 

Volunteers will help unload the boxes and then load the food for those who come to get it. 

All volunteers are required to wear masks and gloves.  

Bring your own mask. Gloves will be available.

  

This is a drive-thru event with limited contact between volunteers and attendees.  Attendees will be asked to open their trunk, hatch or back door.  The box and gallon of milk will then be placed in the vehicle.

Out of the country travel:

14 day quarantine to return to school is required

  • Must be symptom free

  • Follow strict social distancing guidelines

  • Does not live with anyone who is C-19 positive

Flight travel and tourist destinations within the U.S:

14 day quarantine to return to school is always the safest option

10 day quarantine is allowed if strict social distancing guidelines were followed on vacation

  • Testing is encouraged after day 5.

  • Has not been exposed to anyone with C-19.  

7 day quarantine is allowed if the following:

  • School has a copy of the negative result.  Test taken 5 days after return.

Please help keep our school open.  If you traveled and feel you may have been exposed or are experiencing symptoms, please quarantine for the full 14 days.
