Good morning Floodwood students and staff.  Today is Friday, September 28th.

Congratulations to the Girls Volleyball team in their 3-0 win against McGregor last night and congratulations to Katelyn Bergin in running her personal best in Cross Country in Hibbing yesterday.

A shoutout to the 8th grade class. Everyone in their class showed school spirit yesterday by wearing purple and gold. Great job!!

Good Luck to the Boys Football team in the Homecoming Game tonight against Cook County.

Junior High Knowledge Bowl practice will be Monday and Wednesday next week at 8 a.m. in Mr. Tollefson's room.

Starting today the cafeteria will be open from 3:00 to 3:20 for a la carte purchases.

Cub Scout Pack #120 will be holding their Scout sign up meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 3rd from 6:00 to 6:30 pm in the basement of Hope Lutheran Church for 1st – 5th graders. Flyers have been put in teachers mailboxes to send home with students.

This is a reminder that if you eat breakfast or lunch there is no food allowed anywhere in the school other than in the cafeteria.

Today is Class Color Day. The Pep Fest will be held during 5th & 6th hours. Students should report to 5th hour for attendance before going to the gym. There will be a Lip Sync contest and Tug of War..

Today’s lunch is Pizza Boats, romaine salad, carrots, fruit, and milk.

Monday’s breakfast is Apple Frudel, fruit cup, and juice.

Be sure to be in school and on time if you want to get in the lunch line 3 minutes before your classmates.
