Daily Bulletin for February 10, 2020

Good morning Floodwood students and staff. Today is Monday, February 10th.

This week is Snow Week. Today is Pajama Day and a Dodgeball Tournament, single elimination, best of 3, for High School 3rd & 4th hour. High School students should check into both 3rd and 4th periods for attendance before going to the gym for the dodgeball tournament. Tomorrow is Twin Day. Dress up like twin’s or wear MN Twins gear.

There will be no Talent Search meetings today. 

I am excited to give you an update on our Pennies for Patients program! For our first week, we have raised $ 189.90 to cure cancer.  The 5th/6th grade class brought in $69.77! They will receive the first weekly award. There will be another count this Friday and a weekly award to the classroom bringing the most pennies in!

The ACT will be given on March 24th and is open to all Juniors and Seniors. Please see Ms. Stupke if you would like to sign up.

There will be a school dance on Friday February 14th from 6-8pm for grades 5th, 6th, and 7th. Cost is $3 to get in! 

Seniors please check your email for information about the upcoming Senior Showcase hosted by Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College this Thursday, Feb. 13. See Ms. Stupke if you have questions.

This the last day to complete the applications for The Minnesota State Patrol District 3100. Please turn them in to Ms. Stupke.

The sophomores are selling cookie grams for $1.50 and candy grams for $1.00 for Valentine’s Day. They will also be raffling off a giant teddy bear. Tickets are one ticket for a dollar or 7 tickets for $5.00.

Today’s lunch is Spaghetti, coleslaw, green beans, breadstick, fruit, and milk.

Tomorrow’s breakfast is EZ Jammer, fruit cup, and juice.

Paws up to the students caught roaring with pride: Thank you for setting a good example to students and staff!
